Abstract
Purpose: Access to transplantation has been shown to vary geographically. One potential contributing factor is differential access to required pre-transplant testing. n British Columbia (BC), Canada, all kidney transplantation services are provided in Vancouver, with pre-transplant testing coordinated across five health authorities spread across the province. All testing and investigations are covered by a universal health care plan. The aim of this study was to determine the extent of variability in access to baseline testing required for transplant evaluation in BC.
