Dans le contexte actuel de l'évolution rapide des technologies, l’émergence de l’intelligence artificielle (IA) transforme profondément les pratiques éducatives. Cet article propose une réflexion critique sur les modèles de développement professionnel (DP) des enseignants, en mettant l'accent sur leur efficacité pour induire un changement durable dans les pratiques pédagogiques. En analysant les approches les plus influentes, l'étude identifie les facteurs clés de succès d'un modèle de DP efficace, incluant la collaboration, l'alignement avec les objectifs institutionnels, et l'intégration de l'IA. La méthodologie employée repose sur une analyse critique des modèles existants dans la littérature scientifique à travers une approche narrative et thématique, combinée à une évaluation des impacts des dispositifs sur les pratiques enseignantes. Le cadre méthodologique CRITICA (Critiquer, Réfléchir, Interpréter, Thématiser, Innover, Collaborer, Agir) bien que non encore évalué, est utilisé pour structurer cette analyse en trois étapes : critiquer, réfléchir, et proposer des solutions innovantes pour la mise en œuvre du DP à l'ère de l'IA. Cette démarche permet de contextualiser l’évolution du DP dans un environnement éducatif en constante mutation. Cette analyse ouvre également la voie à une meilleure évaluation des modèles actuels et à la proposition de nouveaux modèles adaptés aux défis contemporains.
