L’auteure propose, dans son article, une lecture féministe décoloniale du mythe de Musokoroni dans la cosmogonie bamanan. Opposée à Ba Faro, figure de la féminité soumise, Musokoroni est perçue comme transgressive et menaçante pour l’ordre social. Cette opposition légitime la régulation du corps féminin et des normes de genre, notamment à travers l’excision. En mobilisant les théories féministes décoloniales, l’auteure déconstruit cette vision punitive et réinterprète Musokoroni comme une figure de résistance, revendiquant une autonomie corporelle et intellectuelle face aux structures patriarcales et coloniales. Elle explore également ses réappropriations contemporaines dans les arts et les mouvements féministes africains, illustrant la manière dont ce mythe peut être un outil de contestation et de décolonisation des savoirs.
