Abstract
La prise en charge des victimes de brûlure graves dans les urgences des centres primaires présente plusieurs défis, entre autres, en lien avec l’absence d’équipes de soins spécialisés. L’arrivée d’une victime de brûlure grave dans les salles de réanimation des centres primaires devient alors un défi puisque celle-ci nécessite du personnel spécialisé et une prise en charge interdisciplinaire pour assurer la meilleure issue de santé possible. Une approche systématique par l’équipe des urgences primaires devient alors cruciale et les membres du personnel infirmier s’avèrent les professionnel.les de choix afin de guider l’équipe dans ce processus. Cet article offre donc un soutien aux personnes infirmières en lien avec les particularités de la prise en charge de la victime de brûlure grave en centre primaire en prévision d’un transfert interhospitalier urgent.
