Cet article met à contribution les écritures littéraires autochtones et la manière dont celles-ci peuvent devenir des lieux de savoirs situés et relationnels qui engagent un processus de revitalisation des connaissances féminines en lien avec Tipiskâwi-pîsim, la Lune en nehiyawewin. Ce faisant, il aborde le lien entre Tipiskâwi-pîsim et les jeunes filles autochtones à partir de l’expérience des premières menstruations et de sa représentation en littérature en formulant la question suivante : comment la littérature permet-elle une reprise en charge narrative et symbolique des savoirs féminins autochtones associés aux menstruations et quel rôle joue Tipiskâwi-pîsim dans la constitution et la revitalisation de ces savoirs à la fois culturels et corporels ? Afin de répondre à cette question, l’autrice analyse le recueil Burning in this Midnight Dream de la poète nehiyaw Louise Bernice Halfe et l’album jeunesse Moon Time Prayer de l’autrice métisse de la Rivière Rouge Cindy Gaudet.
