Abstract
As we criticalize, we can recognize oppression, theorize, and work to remove it. Focus should be on recognizing how media shapes the context of meaning-making for the general public, how the state-corporate nexus's adoption of management control influences the understanding of constructed objects, and how hegemony is practised on a noncritical citizenry. The functioning of the modern corporation and continuous evolution of refinement of Taylorism in practice, has over the last century led to commercial domination of the national and global social systems.Disaggregation of knowledge by the media, feeding the mediatized knowledge to the masses for implementation, could explain how monetized power is used in large corporations leading to the precaritization of the masses.
