Das 2014 gegründete Addiction and the Family International Network veranstaltete dieses Jahr den 6. Internationalen Kongress erstmalig außerhalb von Europa in Québec, Kanada. Nach der ersten Konferenz 2018 in Newcastle UK, der Konferenz 2023 in Rotterdam und 3 virtuellen Konferenzen in den Jahren 2021, 2022 und 2024 zeichnete sich der dritte Kongress erneut durch einen Zuwachs an Teilnehmende aus und begrüßte über 200 internationale Besucher und Besucherinnen.
