The rise of multimodal generative AI has revolutionized creative industries by enabling the production of high-quality text, images, audio, and video. However, this innovation has also introduced critical challenges, including content authenticity concerns, the proliferation of deepfakes, intellectual property disputes, and unethical manipulation of media. Addressing these issues requires a robust and scalable solution. This chapter introduces a blockchain-driven framework that integrates the strengths of blockchain's decentralized and immutable architecture with the creative potential of generative AI. It ensures verifiable content creation by embedding proof of originality into digital assets, facilitates transparent ownership through tokenization, and automates secure licensing and fair revenue sharing via smart contracts. By exploring the theoretical foundation, technical architecture, and practical applications of blockAuth, it presents a transformative solution to foster trust, transparency, and equity in the digital media ecosystem.
