Abstract
Atrial fibrillation (AF) patients often have enlarged left atria (LA) and corresponding enlargements in pulmonary veins (PVs). The size of the LA and variations in PV anatomy correlate with the success of AF treatments, including acute PV isolation and reduction of AF recurrence.1,2 Considering this anatomical diversity, we evaluated the differential utilization of a variable-loop circular catheter (VLCC) for pulsed field ablation (PFA), testing if treatment personalization by loop sizing could predict ablation success.
