Abstract
Abstract. Jamblang Chinatown is located on the banks of the Jamblang River, which was formed by trading activities that made it a trading center in West Cirebon. Jamblang Chinatown has a long history, but currently the historical objects in the Jamblang Chinatown area have not been identified. This study aims to determine the typology of historical objects as a basis for planning based on cultural heritage preservation and increasing the vitality of the Jamblang Chinatown area. This study uses a qualitative approach method with data collection in the form of literature studies, field observations, and interviews and the analysis used is Place Historic analysis (Historical Reading). The research findings show that there are three residential objects in the Indische Empire and Art Deco styles, two residences with mixed land use with Chinese characteristics, one monastery object which is one of the oldest monasteries in Cirebon as the beginning of the formation of the spatial structure of the area, two statue objects in the courtyard of the Peranakan Chinese residence. There are findings of two circulation objects, namely roads and rivers as active distribution routes for the glory of trade in the Jamblang Chinatown area.A Abstrak. Pecinan Jamblang terletak di tepian sungai Jamblang yang terbentuk karena adanya aktivitas perdagangan yang menciptakannya sebagai pusat perdagangan di Cirebon Bagian Barat. Pecinan Jamblang memiliki sejarah yang panjang tetapi saat ini objek sejarah di kawasan Pecinan Jamblang belum teridentifikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tipomofologi objek sejarah sebagai dasar perencanaan berbasis pelestarian cagar budaya dan meningkatkan vitalitas Kawasan Pecinan Jamblang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data berupa studi literatur, observasi lapangan dan wawancara serta analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis Place Historic (Historical Reading). Hasil temuan menunjukan terdapat tiga objek hunian bergaya indische empire dan art deco dua hunian mixed landuse cirikhas Tionghoa, satu objek vihara yang merupakan salah satu Vihara tertua di Cirebon sebagai awal dari terbentuknya struktur spasial kawasan, dua objek patung di halaman hunian peranakan Tionghoa. Terdapat temuan dua objek sirkulasi yaitu jalan dan sungai sebagai jalur distribusi aktif kejayaan perdagangan Kawasan Pecinan Jamblang).
