Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract. The phenomenon of a significant increase in KRL Commuter Line users on the Rangkasbitung-Tanah Abang route with the number of passengers reaching 8,812,911 people in 2024 reflects the growing mobility needs of the peri-urban community of Lebak Regency. This encourages the need to identify factors that influence public interest in using Commuter Line transportation. The research method uses a quantitative approach with confirmatory factor analysis of the Lebak Regency community of Commuter Line users through a purposive sampling technique. Primary data were collected using a questionnaire on 100 respondents determined by the Slovin formula. Data processing was carried out by factor analysis through SPSS 22, including the KMO test, Barlett's Test, and Principal Component Analysis with Varimax rotation. The results show the formation of two main factors that explain 62.897% of the total variance. The first factor is the physical service dimension and operational regulations (42.191% of the variance), including the condition of facilities, station facilities, comfort, security, and regulatory effectiveness. The second factor is the economic dimension and perceived value (20.706% of the variance), including the perception of travel costs and their suitability to the service. The conclusion shows that public interest in using the Commuter Line is influenced integratively by the quality of operational services and perceptions of economic value, so that public transportation management needs to accommodate both aspects holistically.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
