El espacio del trajín entre nodos e internodos durante los siglos XVII y XVIII: el caso de Jesús de Machaca (La Paz, Bolivia)

Abstract
El Periodo Colonial ha sido estudiado desde diferentes perspectivas, lo que proporcionó reconstrucciones interesantes para comprender el funcionamiento de las sociedades que habitaron Bolivia durante esos años. Para reforzar esto, es necesario tratar de comprender el manejo del espacio a partir de los agentes que permitieron su articulación, incluyendo las materialidades que se podrían asociar. En este sentido, desde una propuesta que conjuga datos arqueológicos e historiográficos, se propone una reconfiguración del espacio del trajín articulando nodos e internodos desde Jesús de Machaca, ello gracias a los testamentos de la familia cacical de dicha población, los Fernández Guarachi, durante los siglos XVII y XVIII. Con ello nos preguntamos si estos personajes, gracias al poder que gozaban, pudieron jugar un rol determinante en la organización territorial y el acceso a bienes de prestigio, como es el caso de las mayólicas. Para esto, gracias a la reconstrucción espacial, se lograron identificar tres territorios circulatorios que muestran diferentes poblaciones, rutas y materialidades que hicieron posible el acceso a recursos, áreas residenciales, comercio y espacios sagrados, que nos llevan a plantear un carácter ambivalente de Jesús de Machaca, que gravitó entre ser un nodo y un internodo conforme a las coyunturas sociales y temporales.
