Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Saskatoon berry is a fruit-bearing decorative plant of high biological value. The major therapeutic ingredients of its berries are phenolic compounds, primarily flavonoids. Healthy and mature berries contain a high content of anthocyanin, flavonols, and proanthocyanidin. The total anthocyanin in berries is comparable to that of wild blueberry and is higher than that of other small-berry species such as chokeberry, sea buckthorn, raspberry, and strawberry. Among anthocyanins, cyanidin-3-glucoside, cyanidin-3-galactoside, and delphinidin-3-glucoside are the major ingredients. Its berries are known for being antioxidant, anticarcinogenic, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, vessel-protective, and neuroprotective. Saskatoon berries have been reported to have total anthocyanin (45–50 mg/100 g), carbohydrates (18 g), total dietary fiber (5.9 g), Ca (42 mg), iron (1 mg), vitamin C (3.6 mg), and vitamin A (35.7 IU). It may be one of the best green medicines to prevent and cure type 2 diabetes mellitus in the future.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
