Abstract
Il presente lavoro intende analizzare il romanzo Il cielo e la terra di Carlo Coccioli in relazione ad alcune vicende biografiche dell’autore e in particolar modo in rapporto alla filosofia di Søren Kierkegaard. Nel romanzo di Coccioli si rintracciano alcuni dei temi più cari alla riflessione del filosofo danese: l’angoscia, la disperazione, la fede come tensione, lo svuotamento di sé. Attraverso l’analisi, in special modo, della figura del protagonista del romanzo, don Ardito Piccardi, l’articolo si propone di rintracciare echi di una filosofia esistenzialista nell’opera dell’autore toscano.
