Abstract
The article characterizes the current state in the study of American culture based on the results presented at the fiftieth anniversary conference of the Russian Society of American Culture Studies, which was held at Georgy Arbatov Institute for the U.S. and Canada Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences (ISKRAN) in December 2024. In the frame of seven traditional sections and two round tables, issues of American culture evolution and struggles were considered through interaction with the ideas and practice of democracy from the 17th century to the present time in Literature, Art and Media.
