Abstract
The Halifax Declaration is an important call to action to accelerate equitable health and well-being for displaced people by aligning humanitarian and development systems, embedding refugee and forced-migrant health into universal health coverage (UHC), and elevating accountability for results.1 However, the Declaration gives insufficient, operationally specific attention to a core element of health equity and well-being: assured, affordable, and continuous access to essential medicines and related health products across the displacement continuum.
