Abstract
ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Aaron Fountain and Mélanie Mansat are co-first authors on ‘ Depletion of endomembrane reservoirs drives phagocytic appetite exhaustion in macrophages’, published in JCS. Aaron is a postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Dr Trung Pham at Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, USA, interested in studying phagosome maturation, as well as how intracellular pathogens survive within macrophage.
