Abstract
Le trouble déficit de l’attention/hyperactivité (TDAH) est de plus en plus observé chez les personnes étudiant à la maîtrise et au doctorat, mais leur expérience associée à ce diagnostic demeure peu étudiée. Dans la présente étude, vingt personnes étudiantes de cycles supérieurs ayant un TDAH ont pris part à une entrevue semi-structurée portant sur leur accès aux cycles supérieurs et les effets perçus de leur diagnostic. Elles attribuent leur admission aux cycles supérieurs à une combinaison de qualités personnelles, de stratégies et de soutien. Dans leur parcours aux cycles supérieurs, ces personnes observent des défis persistants associés à la gestion du temps et à l’attention, mais également des forces liées à la créativité, à l’engagement et à la communication orale.
