Perempuan tanah kembali mendefinisikan ulang istilah ini untuk memutuskan rantai penindasan terhadap perempuan. Pengunaan sebutan perempuan tanah menantang dan menata ulang citra diri perempuan tanah di bawah penindasan kaum kapitalis di Keerom. Tulisan ini bertujuan menganalisa korelasi antara penindasan perempuan dan alam. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kulitatif dengan menekankan pada studi pustaka untuk menghimpun data dan mengelolahnya. Pendekatan studi ekofeminis digunakan untuk menganalisa fenomena penindasan yang dialami oleh perempuan tanah di Keerom
