Abstract

Currently, there are hundreds of thousands of single post workers engaged in underground operations in China. Although the mining industry has achieved video surveillance of major underground operation locations, safety monitoring of single post workers has been in a blank state. Especially with the construction of intelligent, information-based, and digital mines, it is necessary to effectively monitor single job operation groups and enhance individual safety protection. The article researched and developed an individual safety monitoring device that can achieve real-time online monitoring of the heart rate, collision, and high-altitude falling status of underground personnel in the mining industry, grasp the safety status of employees, and issue alarm signals in case of abnormal situations, reminding emergency personnel to provide timely assistance and improving the safety guarantee level of single post operation personnel in mining enterprises.
