Abstract
This article presents the materials of the interview with the artist Svetlana Turcan, who during the years 2002-2024 held the position of accompanist and choir master of the "Doina" Choir Chapel. The years of her activity as choir master coincided with the period when this choral collective was led by Veronica Garștea and Ilona Stepan, who performs this function at present. In the discussion, the professional activity and the artistic success of the chapel during this period are characterized, the place, role, and working methods of the choir master in the chapel are determined. The article also contains reminiscences of the personalities of the chapel's artistic directors, noting the significant contribution of the current artists to the development of the artistic repertoire of the "Doina" Choir Chapel, as well as the enormous value of their personal testimonies.
