Abstract
Trans Care BC is a publicly funded Canadian website providing gender-affirming health information for transgender and gender-diverse individuals. This review evaluates the site’s usability, comprehensiveness, accuracy, and accessibility, especially considering recent U.S. government rollbacks of LGBTQ+ health resources. While the site excels in inclusivity, clarity, and community engagement, it lacks consistent citation of clinical standards and authorship transparency. Despite these minor gaps, Trans Care BC remains one of the most comprehensive and affirming consumer health websites available, filling a critical need for reliable, respectful, and current information in an increasingly hostile information landscape.
