Abstract
Depuis 2023, au sein de la Maison de soins palliatifs St-Raphaël à Montréal, Dre Catherine Courteau (médecine palliative) et Achille Volpi (acupuncteur en soins palliatifs), proposent des ateliers d’écriture inspirés de la médecine narrative. Destinés aux patient.e.s en fin de vie, proches-aidant.e.s et endeuillé.e.s, ils permettent d’explorer la maladie et le deuil à travers la méthode Amherst Writers & Artists et les récits personnels. Nous espérons ici partager une immersion dans un de nos ateliers, qui espèrent être un espace sûr pour reconstruire les récits de vie bouleversés, renforcer la résilience et préserver la dignité. Structurées autour de thématiques variées, les ateliers favorisent une réflexion introspective et un partage sans jugement, transformant l’écriture en outil de continuité et d’humanisation.
