Abstract
Quebec navigates within an ‘ethnoculturally’ diverse environment, which creates pressure to adapt to the province’s school environments and staff. The research findings presented in this article reflect a project to assess the evolution of the application of intercultural competency. Specifically, this article examines changes in intercultural practices reported by various staff members of a multi-ethnic elementary school in Quebec, Canada, analysing them considering intercultural praxis. These results indicate that a shared training programme within the school facilitates the development of various aspects of intercultural praxis from different perspectives, stimulating reflection on the roles and actions that can initiate a change in perceptions, primarily in practices within educational institutions.
