Abstract
Lucie-Catherine Ouimet est infirmière praticienne spécialisée en soins de première ligne chez Médecins du Monde. Pénélope Boudreault est infirmière clinicienne et directrice des opérations nationales et du développement stratégique pour Médecins du monde Canada. Elles travaillent ensemble au sein de la clinique de proximité en santé autochtone, un projet pilote issu d’une collaboration entre le Centre d’amitié Autochtone de Montréal et Médecins du Monde. En décembre 2024, elles ont accordé une entrevue à l’équipe du CREMIS dans le cadre d’un projet mené en collaboration avec quatre organismes autochtones pour favoriser l’implantation de la sécurisation culturelle au sein des urgences hospitalières du CCSMTL. Au cours de cet échange, elles partagent avec nous leurs expériences de pratique et tracent des pistes à suivre pour favoriser des collaborations plus lumineuses entre les différent·es acteurs·trices de la santé et des services sociaux, et pour faire évoluer les pratiques professionnelles en vue d’offrir des services plus équitables.
