Abstract
Abstract Echographic Poiesis is an arts-based method intended to increase individuals’ capacity to process and respond to life in the Anthropocene. Echographic Poiesis draws from several different practices, namely Jack Mezirow’s (1997) transformative learning theory, Roger Simon’s (2004) historiographic poiesis, and Joanna Macy’s (2007) “Work That Reconnects.”
