La Chaire de recherche sur la démocratie et les institutions parlementaires, qui évolue depuis bientôt une vingtaine d’années à l’université Laval dans la ville de Québec, a développé au fil des ans une expertise de pointe dans la compréhension des enjeux entourant les systèmes parlementaires et les démocraties contemporaines.La contribution retrace l’histoire de la création de la Chaire, décrit ses axes de recherche et activités et aborde son souci de réunir la recherche et la pratique au sein de sa programmation scientifique, notamment avec ses partenaires institutionnels.
