Abstract
L’exploitation sexuelle des enfants et des jeunes en ligne désigne des gestes à caractère sexuel envers des personnes de moins de 18 ans commis ou diffusés par les technologies. Plusieurs de ces gestes sont des infractions criminelles en vertu du Code criminel canadien, comme le leurre et la pornographie juvénile. Le nombre de cas d’exploitation sexuelle d’enfants et de jeunes en ligne est en hausse au Canada et au Québec. Elle peut survenir dans plusieurs lieux virtuels, dont les médias sociaux. L’exploitation sexuelle en ligne peut entraîner une variété de conséquences sur les enfants et les jeunes victimes. Prévenir cette violence nécessite des stratégies qui agissent sur la société, les environnements, les milieux de vie et les individus.
