Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Healthcare campaigns are a tactic often used by healthcare organizations across Canada to garner donations. Multimodal elements of communication such as font, colour, background music and imagery play a crucial role in these campaigns to persuade and captivate audiences. This MRP analyzed three of the most successful healthcare campaign videos in Canadian history to date: SickKids “VS. Undeniable,” (2016) Centre for Addiction and Mental Health’s “No One Left Behind,” (2023) and The Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil campaign (2023). This study concludes that the formula for a successful healthcare campaign video includes: the avoidance of expert terminology; visible changes in the lighting, such as the image being darkened/lightened depending on what is occurring, and text that is legible and easy to read. Also the inclusion of the colours white and black, and background music that is memorable if loud, or quiet to assist with focus of the main message

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
