Abstract
Si l’homosexualité masculine n’est jamais nommée dans L’Autre vue (1904) de l’auteur belge Georges Eekhoud, de nombreux indices suggèrent qu’elle constitue l’objet central du roman et qu’il est possible de le relire dans une perspective queer . Les théories du narrateur non fiable révèlent la présence, non pas d’un, mais de deux personnages homosexuels : Paridael et Bergmans. Démasqué, ce dernier donne accès à un discours militant en faveur de la légitimation de l’homosexualité dans la partie centrale du roman, le journal intime de Paridael, en amalgamant deux niveaux de lectures, un dit social et politique masquant un non-dit homosexuel.
