Abstract
The article aims to analyze the state of public transport user satisfaction approximately 15 months after the public transport company SOTRA (Société des Transports Abidjanais) established itself in Bouaké, the second largest city in Côte d'Ivoire. A questionnaire was administered to public transport users at the various stops and bus terminals. In a context of strong competition, the research shows that several variables influence user satisfaction in Bouaké. While a large majority of users are students, the research reveals that they are generally satisfied with the public transport company's services and that certain criteria such as the courtesy of drivers divide users.
