Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to address the fundamental question: As the harmonic analysis associated with the ‐Hankel transform has witnessed remarkable development, does there exist an equivalent of the theory of localization operators in this framework of the ‐Hankel theory? The answer to this question is affirmative and the present study offers a proper description of the localization operators associated with the ‐Hankel Wigner distribution on the space of measurable functions . Nevertheless, a rigorous inspection of the boundedness and compactness of two‐wavelet localization operators associated with the generalized Wigner distribution is also carried out.
