Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. 1.Pendidikan agama Islam di lingkungan muallaf di desa Buana Mustika, tujuan agar terwujudnya insan kamil yang bertakwa kepada Allah swt, dan berbudi luhur terhadap kedua orang tua. Metode keteladanan sebagai contoh yang baik kepada anak yang berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan nilai-nilai ajaran agama Islam, dan metode nasihat sebagai bentuk perhatian orang tua terhadap pendidikan dan perkembangannya. Materi aqidah sebagai bentuk keyakinan manusia terhadap Allah swt., materi ibadah suatu tindakan yang dilakukan setiap umat Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, dan alam semesta. Materi akhlak sebagai bentuk perbuatan baik ataupun tercela, adapun akhlak sangat ditekankan dalam mendidik anak-anak ialah akhlak yang sesuai dengan ajaran Islam. 2. Meliputi factor internal dan factor eksternal. Faktor penghambat internal seperti: keimanan yang lemah, motivasi/ kemauan yang rendah. Sedangkan factor penghambat eksternal seperti: keluarga yang kurang/ tidak membimbing, ketiadaan ustad/ah/ penyuluh agama Islam. Faktor pendukung internal seperti: keimanan yang kuat, motivasi/ kemauan yang kuat, dan kemampuan memanagemen waktu; dan faktor pendukung eksternal seperti: keluarga yang membimbing, keberadaan lembaga pendidikan.Kata Kunci : Tanggung Jawab, Pendidikan Anak, dan Muallaf
