Dans le cadre d’un partenariat de recherche avec l’Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT), l’équipe d’enseignants et d’élèves DLAT d’ AgroParisTech s’est rendue en mai 2008 au Québec (Canada) dans la région de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue pour préparer le plan stratégique du territoire avec la Société de Développement du Témiscamingue.
