Abstract
Les marques de provenance des livres anciens nous permettent de reconstituer des bibliothèques dispersées pour lesquelles il n'existe ni liste ni inventaire. Ces ensembles sont fragmentaires et ne s'élèvent qu'à quelques exemplaires. Ils sont pourtant parfois riches d'informations grâce aux annotations qu'ils comportent. Ainsi, la Médiathèque d'Orléans a pu identifier dans ses collections des ouvrages appartenant aux professeurs de droit de l'université d'Orléans, Guillaume Fournier et Jean Robert, ainsi qu'à deux autres juristes de la même période, Léon Trippault et Charles Nourrisson. Au-delà des livres qui composaient leurs bibliothèques, les exemplaires conservés nous donnent des indications sur les pratiques de lecture à la Renaissance, la réception d'auteurs représentatifs de l'humanisme juridique à Orléans dans la seconde moitié du xvie siècle et les liens qui pouvaient exister entre ces différentes personnalités.
