Abstract
Abstract: Lors de sa sortie en 2017, Nos Richesses de Kaouther Adimi a été accueilli comme un véritable hommage aux institutions littéraires francophones et à l’éditeur humaniste pied-noir Edmond Charlot. Cependant, une relecture du roman à travers le prisme de l’anarchive (Brozgal 2020) met en lumière un tableau plus nuancé de l’histoire littéraire algérienne. Si Adimi imagine un journal de Charlot valorisant son rôle clé dans cette histoire, elle souligne incessamment les limites de ce geste archivistique en mettant en scène les lacunes du document (et de Charlot lui-même) face à la décolonisation. Afin de compléter cette vision partielle, l’écrivaine y joint des récits collectifs de l’histoire (dé)coloniale algérienne s’appuyant sur un intertexte aussi bien colonial que nationaliste. Enfin, un récit fictif interroge le devenir de l’héritage littéraire de Charlot et sa capacité à mobiliser l’Algérie contemporaine. Nos Richesses peut donc être inter-prété comme sa propre anarchive des littératures algériennes, multiples et enchevêtrées, dont aucune ne peut à elle seule dire l’Histoire.
