Esta investigación se inscribe con la ambición de favorecer la Gestión de las Empresas a través de los estudios comparativos en torno a la diversidad cultural y la adaptación de esquemas organizacionales. Las teorías del Management, azarosamente buscan articular convenientemente lo universal con lo local. El debate estriba entonces entre aquellos que defienden el carácter universal de las buenas prácticas del Management y aquellos que enfatizan en el aspecto local. Este trabajo no pretende apostar por una u otra de estas dos tesis sino aportar elementos para incluir en este debate seguido criticado por portar elementos insuficientes así como contribuir hacia una mejor comprensión de los cuadros culturales de referencia, el Laboratorio de Pruebas de Equipos y Materiales (LAPEM) de México y el Centro de Investigación Industrial (CRIQ) de Québec. Esta investigación, conducida desde los años 1999 a la fecha, ha sido presentada en diversos foros académicos y de investigación.
