En Haïti le Sous-développement durable, publicado en 2023 por la editorial de la Universidad de Ottawa, Vladimir Lovinski ofrece un análisis en profundidad de los retos y oportunidades asociados al desarrollo económico y la descentralización en Haití. El autor destaca la dinámica y las ambigüedades de las políticas de desarrollo, subrayando la dificultad de institucionalizar la planificación del desarrollo local (Lovinski, 2023). A través de un análisis cualitativo de los argumentos del autor y de su aplicabilidad, esta reseña de libro pretende evaluar su pertinencia en el contexto actual de Haití, así como el impacto potencial de sus ideas en el desarrollo del país.
