Comment réformer l’école ? En fonction de quelles idées, de quelles visées et en mobilisant quels moyens et quels instruments ? Répondre à ces questions est complexe tant les inerties sont grandes, les acteurs nombreux et les chemins à emprunter tortueux. L’ouvrage explore ces chemins en s’interrogeant sur les processus de fabrication des politiques éducatives, en lien avec les idées et intérêts des acteurs qui les façonnent, mais aussi avec les institutions dans lesquelles leur action se développe. Il présente des cas nationaux variés — France, Suisse, Belgique, Albanie, Québec — dans la perspective d’identifier les processus communs et les spécificités de chacun. Ils interrogent les logiques d’action et les stratégies des acteurs, les référentiels sur lesquels ils s’appuient et le poids des institutions dans lesquelles les politiques s’inscrivent.
