This project was completed for the Students as Partners Program (SaPP). During the winter 2025 semester, we worked together to apply the technology of podcasting to the course ALDS 4305: Teaching English Language Methodology I. After some online research, educational materials were created for the course. These materials included instructions for podcasting, podcast-focused assignments, and grading criteria. Podcasting presents an innovative way to complete assignments - instead of writing, students communicate their knowledge and ideas in a critical way through speaking. Additionally, auditory enhancements can be added, such as music and transitions.
