Abstract
While many regions worldwide experience severe water scarcity, there are also water-abundant regions with abundant water resources. These regions, however, still face significant challenges related to the equitable distribution and sustainable management of water resources. Countries like Canada, Brazil, and Russia are home to vast freshwater reserves. However, even these nations are not immune to the growing global water crisis, as pollution, infrastructure, and governance issues can still pose serious threats to water security.
