Abstract
Cet article aborde la représentation de la littérature québécoise – de ses figures et de son institution – dans des fictions récentes (2018-2022) : Le meilleur dernier roman de Claude La Charité, Les querelleurs de France Théoret, À propos du Joug de Patrice Lessard, L’impromptu de Catherine Mavrikakis et Jardin radio de Charlotte Biron. L’hypothèse défendue est que le savoir lettré gagne en évidence à l’époque contemporaine et perd, par conséquent, en pertinence. La démonstration s’attache ainsi à illustrer comment le scénario de la « sortie de la littérature » et celui de l’« entrée en littérature », racontés dans le corpus, permettent de lire des valeurs littéraires problématisées, opposant la liberté créatrice au dogme littéraire, généralement universitaire, sans pouvoir s’en affranchir. La littérature « faite » du Québec se prête alors à un bilan.
