Abstract
Nesta entrevista, conduzida por Thaís Henriques Dias, Shin Imai compartilha sua trajetória como advogado e professor de direito indígena e direitos humanos, além de sua visão sobre alguns de seus principais temas de pesquisa e atuação, como os conflitos envolvendo mineradoras canadenses na América Latina e no Canadá, o papel do governo canadense e de suas embaixadas nesses conflitos, algumas estratégias para buscar a responsabilização corporativa e a chamada advocacia comunitária. A conversa ocorreu em 11 de setembro de 2024, na Faculdade de Direito Osgoode Hall (Osgoode Hall Law School), da Universidade de York (York University), em Toronto, Canadá, durante a estadia da entrevistadora como acadêmica visitante na Faculdade de Mudança Ambiental e Urbana (Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change) da mesma universidade, no âmbito de uma bolsa de estágio no exterior da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes).
