Abstract
The emerging trend of tourism is shifting from tangible to intangible, which signifies the importance of cultural and adventure tourism. Academic exploration to understand the critical issues in tourism entrepreneurship and sustainable tourism development has remained largely neglected, particularly in the contexts of cultural and adventure tourism. This chapter presents a critical analysis of socio-cultural dynamics for the development of entrepreneurship in the context of cultural and adventure tourism in developing and developed countries. We further look at the social and environmental impacts of cultural and adventure tourism and sustainability issues in entrepreneurship development.
