Abstract
A concepção de infância, historicamente forjada por determinantes sociais e econômicos, adquire, com a psicanálise, um novo estatuto. A partir das elaborações de Freud e Lacan, a fantasia infantil passa a ser concebida como um operador fundamental na constituição do sujeito. Este ensaio revisita a clássica fantasia de surra, analisada por Freud, enfatizando seu papel na formação do desejo e seus desdobramentos nas três fases por ele descritas. Lacan, por sua vez, articula essas fantasias ao complexo de Édipo e à ordem simbólica, evidenciando como o sujeito se institui na interseção entre linguagem, desejo e gozo. Propõe-se, ao final, que o percurso analítico, ao possibilitar a travessia da fantasia infantil, abra espaço — uma volta a mais — para a emergência de um desejo singular e não anônimo: o desejo do analista.
