Abstract
Au Québec, dès la fin des années 60, la réforme du système d’éducation mène à l’intégration des Écoles d’art au sein des universités. La présence d’artistes au sein du corps professoral amène à reconcevoir les pratiques artistiques en milieu académique comme des formes de recherche, ce qui induit le développement de nouveaux paradigmes épisté-mologiques. L’émergence de la recherche-création comme approche de recherche a ouvert tout un champ de possibles pour les arts, les sciences humaines et les sciences. Le réseau Hexagram pour la recherche-création en art, culture et technologies est fondé en 2001 alors que la recherche-création s’institutionalise et qu’elle est reconnue et financée par les grands fonds de recherche au niveau provincial et fédéral. Aujourd’hui, Hexagram est le creuset de collaborations interna-tionales en recherche-création art et science.
