Abstract
With the consolidation of Journalism in society, an ideal image of both the professional and his/her work was solidified in people's imagination. Even today, the area often conflicts with what is expected of it, such as total impartiality in the production of news and fidelity to what is considered fact. This work reflects on the desuperficialization of the journalistic subject-position based on the character Scott Templeton, introduced in the fifth season of the series The Wire (2002). To this end, it seeks to understand and problematize the functioning of the journalist's social projection in his production of senses. In this direction, the research is supported by the discursive studies of Orlandi (2015, 2022) and Traquina (2020), in dialogue with Davallon (1999), Nietzsche (2019), Dardot e Laval (2016) e Han (2024). In conclusion, the multifaceted character of journalism and its historicity make it impossible for the effect of impartiality, at the same time that such an illusion is fed by a neoliberal capitalist system.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from it
