Abstract
Paul Barrett is the Chief Communications Officer for Davie Group , a privately held international shipbuilder with operations in Canada, Finland, and soon the United States. Davie Shipbuilding has been based in Québec, Canada since 1825, is a world-class designer and builder of highly specialized ships—particularly icebreakers for government and commercial customers. Davie became a partner in the Government of Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy in 2023. This historic agreement is for the design and construction of the world’s biggest order of large and technologically advanced ice-going ships. The initial $8.5 billion work package includes seven heavy icebreakers and two large hybrid-powered ferries. Also in 2023, Davie acquired Finland’s Helsinki Shipyard, the world leader in icebreaker design and construction. In 2025, work will begin on the Polar Max icebreaker for Canada. Uniquely, this ship will be built between Davie’s facilities in Helsinki and Quebec. When delivered in 2030, Polar Max will be the most advanced, powerful and capable icebreaker ever delivered to a Western government.

Full frame distilled prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
