Abstract
In December 2022, researchers piloted an online Qualtrics survey with a small pool of Canadian Health Information Professionals (CHIPs) to determine study feasibility for CANMEDLIB-L recipients. After obtaining approval from the Institutional Review Board and CANMEDLIB-L listserv managers, researchers distributed the study recruitment information (e.g. 13-question Qualtrics survey, 5 interview questions) via CANMEDLIB-L in late January-late March 2023. The Qualtrics survey collected 25 responses, but no CANMEDLIB-L recipients completed online interviews. Despite the costs and time commitment, CHIPs complete professional development to maintain skills and to be viewed as a collaborator and peer in the community.
