Este artículo estudia cómo la obra de Gómez de la Serna anterior a 1924 cobra nuevas dimensiones si se lee a través de la mirada de Borges. A partir de la reivindicación de los conceptos de la “Enciclopedia”, el “Libro de todas las cosas y otras muchas más” y el “Alef” que Borges le asigna a la obra ramoniana, se logra descubrir la complejidad en la que esta sostiene su funcionamiento orgánico y los distintos niveles de infinitud que proyecta a sus lectores. Estas aportaciones enriquecen nuestra lectura de Gómez de la Serna y establecen a Borges como un pionero de los estudios ramonianos.
